The 5 pounds/5 weeks Plan

So I'm exactly 5 weeks from the big 3-0. Not that I'm freaking out about it or anything--at 29 my life is pretty good--but I want to start my thirties in the most ripped, lean, badass shape of my life.

So I am embarking on the 5 pounds/5 weeks plan. The goal is to strip off the Cookie Weight I've been hauling around since Chirstmas, lean out, and go into Race season fitter than ever. I suckered my friend K-Lo into doing this with me, so I'll get back here with periodic updates on our progress.

Starting Point: 157.0 / 27% body fat according to my wildly inaccurate Tanita Body Fat Scale. It runs a consistent 10% high, so my actual body fat is probably right around 17%.
